for individual clients through to large commercial projects and complete detailing
of interiors. We also work closley with interior designers and architects,
offering our skills to manufacture their designs. Specialising in contemporary designs, Anton Gerner Furniture Pty Ltd works closely with each client. Clients are advised on design, timber selection and the best method of construction for each design. Concept sketches, or even models, are prepared so clients can fully visualise each individually designed piece before the construction even begins. Timber samples can also be prepared to ensure the colour and grain are suitable for the chosen design. A standard range is also manufactured and pieces can be chosen from a range displayed in the showroom which includes entertainment units, sidetables, dining tables, chests of drawers, desks, upholstered designs, hall tables, bedroom furniture and occasional pieces and accessories. Anton Gerner Furniture Pty Ltd offers a service seldom seen in the furniture industry. Uncompromising high quality construction and attention to detail is achieved using traditional hand tools, techniques of construction and finish. Traditional construction techniques such as mortice and tenon joints, dovetails and hand laying of veneers are used to ensure lasting quality of each design. The finest quality solid timber and unusual veneers are carefully selected and matched from a range of both Australian and imported timbers. Natural oils and waxes or traditional French polish finishes are applied by hand to enhance the distinctive timber combinations selected. Intricate inlays and edge details add to the sophistication of each piece of furniture. Anton Gerner Furniture Pty Ltd also details domestic and commercial interiors.
